My first Overlock diaper

Thread Starter
well after seeing a cute diaper here (the yellow with Hot stuff on it) I decided to learn how to use the overlock stitch and foot tonight. I set out to make some soakers and doublers and somehow did that and ended up with a cute diaper. The stitching is AWFUL but It was an experience and Im going to try it again. I forgot that you dont need a seem allownace and ended up making it so huge so I grabbed the scissors and hacked at it like a mad woman to make it smaller for my DD. I couldnt take any more of the legs off so Its all choppy and uneven! : It was fun :LOL

That looks great! I have a darling diaper all cut out ready to go for 2 weeks, but I just haven't had the time to sew it with my ds teething and needing loads of cuddle time. And at night the machine is so loud and I have to drag everything out of the closet, so I just don't get too it. I need a sewing room!

Great job!
I think it's very cute!!!

So let me ask you: Did you use the darling diaper fitted pattern, is that correct?

I've got the pattern here but didn't have the time yet to try one. (I've only made ONE diper so far -my very 1st!- by simply copying the pattern of a kissaluv's 0. ) Now you got me all ready for getting ready and try!
