omg how cool is this? posted an iso on freecycle

with a bunch of stuff and 1 of them was a serger, i laughed thinking ya right! Well.... i got an email from a woman saying she has a babylock serger that she bought with the intent to use and its still sitting in her bassment 5 years later!!!
So it may need a clean up job and a tune up but hello!! its free!!!!!
This just totally made my day!!!

Hey that's awesome!

We just freecycled a whole bunch of our old, but high quality, furniture (futon, kitchen table, loveseat, crib, baby swing (dd HATES it!), changing table... It feels good to get rid of it (we really needed the space it was hogging), and it feels REALLY good that someone else can use it.

i got a free serger too..it was from a mama of triplets who felt guilty it was just sitting there..we ended up talking a couple times on the phone for like an hour. she was really sweet

check out freecycle.org for a list in ur city..basically ppl post things they want or want to get rid of and u make arrangements for pickup...

Freecycle is great! Another tenant wanted to get rid of a "fixer-upper" washer and posted it there. She mentioned pick-up anytime b/c she was out of work and now she has gotten several odd jobs through freecyclers. I know its not a job service but just goes to show the giving mentality of many freecyclers!

That's the right addy. Look on the left side of the page and choose your area - you'll get information on how to join/read your local Freecycle list.

Oddly, it's the righ taddy but it only sometimes goes to freecycle and other times to the web design site :

Google freecycle, then click on the cached pages optoin instead of the regular link and you'll get there

maybe you typed dot-COM instead of dot-ORG?
