Making a preemie stash

this is just a little OT, but I figure most of the mamas that make cloth diapers probably use them as well

As per my dr's appt tomorrow, it looks like we'll have a preemie to some extent. Hopefully not more than four weeks. Anyway, I'm trying to figure out what would be the best to make and use for a preemie, or just a teeny newborn. (Probably not too small. DD was 8 lbs, 1 oz two weeks early)

I've already made about 10-12 XS covers from the VB SnugWrap pattern, and I have two preemie covers from the PooPockets QuickWrap. I have one dozen infant prefolds, and just made one XS fitted this morning. I'm trying to keep it easy for DH and people that are helping out, so I don't want to rely solely on the prefolds for that purpose. Maybe I'm lazy, but I don't want to have to teach and re-teach how to fold them, LOL!

I'm planning on making hopefully a dozen more fitteds. Is there anything else I should add? I really, really appreciate your input!

Definitely more fitteds, and I'd probably pick up some preemie prefolds. When dd got out of the NICU, she was 5.5 lbs and the preemie pfs fit until she was around 8 (around 1.5-2 months I think). The infant pfs and xs/newborn fitteds I had were HUGE until she was 8-9lbs. I would just set the pfs up in the covers for dh (although he's pretty darn good at folding them lol). That's all I can think of right now, I know I'm forgetting something (my brain is fried ack).

for the good vibes and the advice! I'm working on those fitteds now And hopefully I can get to making some preemie prefolds too. Yay!
