She's adorable!!! Teeny tiny.
Lauren isn't a very aggressive eater and she lost too much weight so that combined with the jaundice sent us back to the hospital on thurs for phototherapy and gavage feeding. It really sucked they kept wanting me to give her bottles of expressed milk to "see" if she would take that, they told my husband that if I would give her bottles she would be able to go home because we could see what she was eating. My midwife has been wonderful, she told the pediatrician that if he would discharge the baby she would come out every day and weigh Lauren to make sure she kept gaining weight, I am supplementing after breastfeeding with a dropper and expressed milk, she is more alert and has gained 70grams since thursday, so we have our fingers crossed that she will keep it up. I am completely wiped out though, I couldn't sleep at the hospital and now that I am finally home my 22 month old is very clingy (understandable) and my husband took last week off of work to help out and now he is going back monday and I feel even worse than the day after she was born, but I am so thankful to have her home and healthy. Off to feed.
