I am considering knitting some mamapads. I need a few more, especially pantiliner type and can't believe the price increase since I bought my so long ago. Anyway, I was considering cotton yarn for the layer closest to my body and perhaps wool as the layer closest to my panties. I might put a middle layer in. But, I am not sure the wool will hold up to lots of washing. Hold up is not what I mean. It would felt basically, right. What about woolease? Or would acrylic be "spillproof"? Thanks.
