Does anyone know anything about it? Is it plausible possible?

Very plausible and absolutely possible. I can speak with authority about it because I've done it. What do you need to know?

Yes, Darkstar and thank you for asking.

Foreskin restoration may have a history going back almost 2,000 years if reports from the original Olympics are true. There are also reports of Jewish Germans making crude attempts at restoring their foreskins during WWII. It appears it was first done in the US in the 1960's but didn't start gaining traction until the late 1980's. Jim Bigelow's book "The Joy of Uncircumcising" seemed to be the event that really got it rolling and the advent of the internet a few years later is what gave it the impetus it has now. The National Organization of Restoring Men, www.norm.org, now has more than 50,000 members and there are quite a few sites on the internet that address the issue.

There are two types of restoration, surgical and non-surgical. Surgical restorations are extremely rare because it is extremely expensive. The cost in the late 1980's ran about $30,000 so I suspect current day costs would be between $40 and $50,000. It is rare because it is a series of 3-4 separate procedures spanning up to a year. It is also rare because the cosmetic results are not good.

The non-surgical method accounts for 99.9%+ of all restorations. It borrows from another medical procedure used in reconstructive plastic surgery that permanently stretches skin to make skin for grafting over other parts of the body. It is a very slow process and generally takes 3 years to complete or more.

There are various methods this is accomplished. Most involve tape and elastic or weights that put a constant pull on the remnant foreskin, slowly pulling adherant cells apart where the body will repair those areas with new cells making new skin which enlongates the remnant foreskin to a lenght approximating the length of the original foreskin.

The results are very near the original visual appearance of the natural foreskin and many of the benefits of the foreskin are restored including a greatly enhanced sexual experience. However, some of the parts of the natural foreskin can not be replicated either by the surgical or non-surgical method and foreskin restoration should not be considered a back up to a decision to circumcise a child with the thinking that if he doesn't like it that he was circumcised, he can restore himself.

In addition to the above link, here is a link to a discussion board that gives all of the information about the procedure. It also has before, during and after photos of men who are/have restored:

If you have questions I haven't answered, I'll be happy to address them.

My DH has done it too, and is still doing it now. He only does it afew days a week, so its taking longer for him. He has been restoring since he was 18 and he's 25 now. so 7 years, but he used to take long breaks in between restoring sometimes. He's more diligent about it now.

His restoration was also impeded by that fact that his penis keeps getting bigger, since he has more room in the skin for the internal tissue to expand.

He is very happy that he's doing this, and his penis is much more sensative than it used to be. It makes "adult time" more pleasurable for both of us. :

DH mainly uses the T-tape w/ elastic band method, he also made his own DILE and a couple of tapeless tuggers that didnt work too well. He also made a suction device (yes, like a penis pump), that he used to use to swell his penis and foreskin tissues, which actually would give him a jump in hos restoration progress. He tried using weights, but they were uncomfortable for him, plus he works construction, so he wants to be as comfortable as possible at work, which is why he chooses the t-tape method.

So those are all options that you guys could check out.

oh, and i Frank! :LOL
