my girlfriend had her baby on 2/2/02

That would definitely make it easier for the child to fill out his/her date of birth in forms :LOL

I thought of that since I became pregnant, but I don't think it's going to happen.... my edd is on the 9th

My dh thought of that too. I was due on Mother's Day so he was like "cool, either a cinco de mayo baby or a Mother's Day baby"...obviously that didn't happen, but it would be awsome for one of the rest of you! I can't believe how many babies we've had already

I had a blighted ovum before this pregnancy and my due date was St. Patricks Day. I was hoping for either the spring equinox or 3/4/05.
Oddly enough, 3/4/05 was a very strange day, I felt very "off" the whole day and just had a hard time for some reason! Maybe the universe was so in line it kind of put ME off kilter eh?

: I couldn't believe it when the nurse talked about the fact that he never "let "women go past 41 weeks like it was a good thing I thought going to 42 weeks or so was normal? I know for me it is! I am going to tell him that if anything I will consider having him strip my membranes, but I would rather not be induced (esp if the only reason is a big baby~ I already KNOW I can birth big babies!). I feel conflicted though, b/c my mom starts chemo Monday. But she says she will be there when Myla is born even if she can only sit in a chair & give verbal support. She knows how I feel about 42+ weeks being normal b/c my brother was born at 42 weeks, 4 days (and the dr was surprised he was a big baby :eyeroll ) Anyways, we went on a long walk this evening & I have been taking the blue cohosh pellets & drinking RRL Tea, etc. My appt is at 11:20am PST tomorrow so please send me labor vibes (and vibes to stay strong against an induction!).

I asked my midwife if she had any 5/5/05 babies, since she had to cancel my appointment on 5/4 due to two women being in labor and I guess she had one just over the wire at 12:01.

She said that she had a patient once way back in 77, who had a scheduled repeat c-section on 7/7/77 and she talked the doctors into doing it at 7am, though I guess it wasn't exactly 7:07, though the baby was 7lbs something. heh

my baby wasn't due until the 28th, but he was born on 5/5/05.

We missed it by just a few hours, much to my OB and husband's dismay!!
