Hi I am looking for a good pattern for fitted and AIOs for a toddler. I have the VB fitted pattern and I made a few trial runs of the large but they all came out too small for my dd. We need an XL or something for the range 30lb and above. Thanks!

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

The Goodness Gracious pattern comes with an XL/Toddler size, but I've never tried it. The instructions say that it will fit from 33-45 lbs.
Good luck!

The Honeyboy pattern runs big and includes an XL size. The large is still too big for dd and she is about 28 pounds. The free online Ottobre (sp?) pattern is also quite large. Take some measurements too so you can compare.

I agree with the pp that the ottebre pattern is very large and I only cut out the smaller one.
May be you could take the VB pattern and add some lenght in the crotch area? would that help or do you need more space in the waist. If so I would extend the front 'tab' area and the back tabs 1/2 to 2 inches till it fits.

One of the VB wahms (I can't recall who, but surf...there arn't all that many yet) makes a XL size for 40+ I believe the size said.
I noticed because one of my cding buddies at LJ's cloth group has a 9yr old who is physically/mentally disabled (I think, I know he can't eat normal food and such) and still uses diapers daily. he's small, but needs more of a diaper than a training pant....
anyways, I'm sure if she made it in a XL it's doable! I would email her and ask, most wahms are so nice

Jessica at Mommys Little Sweetie has the toddler size listed in her VB AIO custom area.
