Brief description of product:
This product is the equivalent of the German brand "Didymos" (which I think you can purchase in the USA).
The Tragetuch is basically a rectangular piece of specially-weaved fabric. It is weaved from organically grown cotton and the colours are from vegetable dyes.
The length of tragetuch that I have is the 4.40 meters long.
The carrying positions using the tragetuch are almost endless. I was carrying my baby at 4 months in the front (like a kangaroo) and now I am carrying her in the back (backpack style).

I bought it when my daughter was 4 months old and I am still using it!
Fit/Sizing:
The length that I have is the 4.40 meter one. The tragetuch comes in a variety of lengths. The different lenghts offers a variety of carrying positions. I am 165 cm (5 5?) and my spouse is 200 cm (6 5?) and we wanted a lsing that would fit both of us and we were interested in the kangaroo type carrying position. (For this kangaroo position, you need more length than for the backpack postion)
Performance:
Excellent because when I wasn't using it as a carrier, I used it as a blanket. Very versatile. Excellent for airports!!!!
Workmomship:
The weaving of the fabric is unique in that the weave stretches slightly to support the baby. It is 100% organic cotton with vegetable dyes. It is also Oeko approved.
Customer Service/Communication:
I actually had to take a course (2 hrs) so that I could use the tragetuch. After the course, I was able to tie the carrier in less than 15 seconds!!!! But you have to take the course or get someone to show how to tie the different positions. There is a booklet of various carrier positions but having someone show them is much better.
Would you purchase this product again?
YES without reservations!!! We have actually purchased other products made by Lana and have been very happy with this company. The only negative is that Lana products are PRICEY!!!!
