My name is actually Diana. I joined MDC when I was only mamma to Anna, so Anna's mamma seemed like a good name to take. I'm thinking of changing it, though, because now I'm also Simon's mamma.
Lavender, I'm jealous. I still have almost 7 weeks before my vacation. We're going to take the kids to Sesame Place because we get in for free this year (we're on active duty and it's Anheuser-Busch's way of saying "thanks") and Anna will LOVE it. We're also going to a children's museum in Philadelphia. After that, it's a week at the New Jersey Shore. It's such a relief to not be flying anywhere. We fly for work sometimes and always have to fly to see family, so when we can go on a trip and not fly, it's a weight off our shoulders. I LOVE the beach. I want to live seaside or at least a shorter drive than I do now when we retire (which will be in our 40's). I hope you're enjoying your trip.
Simcha, what a lovely given name! No, I haven't tried kombucha tea. I was trying to eat macrobiotically for a few weeks but couldn't stand the sea vegetables (kombu, dulse, etc.) and the mushrooms, though I usually like mushrooms, were too strongly flavored for me. The teas smelled funny to me. What you're having sounds yummy in theory, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to tolerate it. I like to think I'm an adventurous eater, but the reality is that I'm only adventurous within my own little box.

Gotta go shower before we all go to work. I love days that we bring the kids with us!
