So sorry for your DH. I feel sorry for my DH too and he doesn't have any problems.

I'm still upset about what was done to my dh too and it's been 3 years since I discovered how awful circ was and what was done to him. My dh was cut very tight and his used to curve too. He's done a little bit of restoring and it has at least gotten rid of the curve he used to have. No real advice but I am pretty much at the same place you are.

Count me in too. I don't know how to forgive MIL for allowing it. I'm livid with her. She has no clue - not a vehement circ'er, just "oh, whatever any doctor thinks". Chaps my ass b/c she is a very protective mother who can think outside the box on any issue other than one a doctor pushes. She wouldn't ignore a doctor's advice no matter now idiotic.

I wouldn't even know how to tell her the profound effect her lack of thought has had on her son, me, and our marriage. She can't fathom.

Count me in too.My dh has a nasty scar and loss of sensitivity. At times it can be painful for me,which makes him feel bad and ruins the mood if he finds out.I have to try to be discreet and change the position or whatever.I feel so bad for him. He shouldn't be this way.He has restored a little,and that has helped very much.MIL was upset when she saw ds is intact,she went on about infections and cleanliness.Dh nicely told her it is no longer recommended,without going into everything.He doesn't want to hurt her,but I think she should should know.Not to hurt her of course,but maybe she could help save future grandsons.Ds is one of 8 grandsons,and I believe the only one intact.

Dh is an intactivist now,he's not afraid to speak up to others.He's talked to a few coworkers and friends.We don't know if it has saved any boys,but at least he's tried.I have as well,but wasn't able to save them from the procedure. We'll keep trying of course!

This is so true. I think it is the lack of thought of another persons body that bothers me the most.
