Yeah, on the expensive side, but the ingredients are totally organic, including the cinnamon they use!
You won't taste a more "real" cookie anywhere. Also, once you buy, you'll be on their customer list and you'll get some discounts occasionally. (That's when I stock up!)
Let me know what you think of them after you've tried them. I ration them too....I only eat up to 2 a day. It's an exercise in discipline with a nice reward attached.

Erin,
Thank you! Thank you! for the cookie recommendation. Yummmmmy. I am going to ask for some for my birthday. I would loooove to have a chocolate mint cookie that tastes...as you said..."real". MMMmmmm! They look so good! I only recently gave up dairy so I still have lots of cravings...although I wonder if they'll ever go away!
any suggestions for vegan keylime pie? That was one of my favorite desserts to order out and I miss it.

Vegan Key Lime Pie...
Hmm.
Check out the vegan cheesecake site, store.yahoo.com/delicious-choices I think is the url.
Or, try Dining By Design, a company that ships gourmet vegan meals all across the country (www.diningbydesign.com)
Also, check out www.vegweb.com for recipes for vegan key lime pie.
And if all that doesn't work, go to www.vegsource.com and post your request in the Recipes forum. You'll get a response for sure.

Get any of Joanne Stepaniak's books. I have a six month old and my husband, bless him, is a klutz in the kitchen! I find all her recipes quick, delicious, and great to prepare ahead of time and refrigerate or freeze. They are all vegan. If you like down home cooking, try Ecological Cooking or Vegan Vittles. If you like middle eastern/ eastern european food, Vegan Deli (or Ecological Cooking). I love these books!

Hey, thanks for the cookbook recs. I ordered a couple from Amazon and have been anxiously awaiting their arrival. The one I'm really interested in seeing is called something like Southwestern Vegan Texas Style. We live in Texas and eat a lot of TexMex food, so this could be my new bible
