the pieces that are too threadbare to be anything? I mean there is not enough in this part for even using it for cleaning cloths.. it does have *some* cloth still left just not much and its not big enough for the vets needs..

I don't want to toss into the landfill if I don't have to...

I am assuming you sew?

Maybe you could make like face cleaning rounds with them? Are they too small for that? Ya know, the cotton rounds to take off make-up or when using astringent or whatever?

I heard of someone making a simple round pattern out of cardboard ....I don't sew, so I dunno...it just came to mind when I read your post!

Good luck

maybe small sachets? I'd think the towelling material would be great for them, especially if it's very thin/threadbare.

Lol I don't sew but I sure pretend

to try LOL
I just try to do what dh showed me with the hand needle

I will try it and let you know how it works!

you could mega-cheese it like i do sometimes - use stitch-witchery or iron-fusable seam tape. :LOL

if you really like the towelling though, you could even probably put together a drawstring bag for a tarot deck.

Is there anyplace you could donate them? I've heard that some of the clothing drops don't resell the clothes but sell them to be shredded up and made into rags.

If you sew or know anybody who does, maybe use these tiny scraps for stuffing pillows or toys?

My mom has a "rag pile" that she throws old t-shirts and towels in for grease/outdoor rags. She works on cars a lot, so she always needs a grease rag around.

If you have dogs or cats, throw the threadbare towels in their bed or pen for bedding or chew toys. You can also cut them into strips and braid them to make chew toys for your dogs or coil them into a flat spiral for rag rugs.

We use them for car rags.. When my dh works on the car.. Then he can just throw in the burn barrel..

If nothing else you could put it on your flower beds this fall and let it turn to mulch. I am assuming it is really threadbare.
