My son was born 12 days ago and we brought him home from the hospital perfect and intact. After seeing him, I cannot imagine letting someone cut on his precious little body. I will admit to liking the look of a circ'd penis better than an intact one, but that's my own preference, and I'm so glad I didn't let it influence my decision regarding my baby and his body. Thanks again to everyone here who provided info when we were researching.

I too found the look of the circ'ed penis nicer in the begining, even though like you I'm glad we left him intact. However now that ds is 4, dh's penis is the one that looks wrong and ds looks perfectly nice and normal. I think it's just what we were used to.

Congratulations on your new little man. How exciting! I think it is sooo wonderful that you put your son's lifelong well-being ahead of your personal aesthetic preference. That is to be commended. I am glad that this board was able to help you come to the understanding to leave your little man the way God or Mother Nature intended.

Congratulations to you, and to your son for having such an informed mother!
You'll get used to the intact penis soon enough. As others have mentioned, soon the circ'ed penis will look strange to you.
