Something is happening, don't know what

I woke up an hour ago with intense pelvic pressure that is constant and pain there that is coming and going like contractions, but am having it no where else. The only thing that is helping is rocking side to side on the birth ball. And I'm losing my plug, and it is blood-tinged. This pelvic pressure is so intense, I never had this with ds, I'm sure it is the head moving down, but is this labor?

DH has to go out of town for work today (an hour away) but I'm thinking of having him not going. I don't think there is any way I can take care of my son if this continues. I can't even walk.

Well for me with my first, I was really crampy down there, started having bloody show and then real contractions started about an hour later....Sam was born 8 hours and 20 minutes later, so if I were you, I might have my DH stick around (although an hour is not too far)..

I guess listen to your body..it will tell you what is going on for sure!

The first time I went into labor on my own it only felt like the worst period cramps known to woman-kind so I'd say it's probably the beginning and if it were me I'd have hubby take care of your son. You need to take care of you. If he absolutely has to go then perhaps you can call someone in to help with ds? Try to relax and think wonderful baby thoughts. Kitty
