I am 9 weeks and have gained FIFTEEN pounds. People have commented on my belly already. WTH?!? I'm starting to seriously believe I'm carrying twins.

Really? wow. On the twins, I mean. How will you find out for sure?

People have suggested I am carrying twins, because my belly is a little big. I hope you find out soon . I really don't know if belly size is an accurate way to measure twins. Some ppl don't know they are having twins until they have them, right?

A friend from another board I'm on was wearing maternity clothes at 8 weeks and kept thinking that she was showing so fast b/c she had a 7 month old baby already and her belly just popped back out. A month or so later she found out it was twins!

When will you find out?

My belly is starting to become noticable to me. But not anyone else. I've got to get dh to start taking belly pics!

I don't know how or when I will find out if there's more than one in there, as I am having an unassisted pregnancy and birth. I am starting to consider U/S, but I wasn't planning on any U/S exposure to this (or these) fetus(es). I could go to the anti-choice center for a free U/S, if I choose to do that. I doubt I will quite yet. I may just wait and see, in another month I'll be able to check fundal height to see if it's measuring ahead. I went to Plato's Closet yesterday to buy some bigger clothes, not wanting to be in maternity already- I was a size 2 a month ago and a 6 is WAY too small for me now. I guess I'm going to be in maternity clothes until Xmas-
Oh well, it'd be worth it to have TWO cute babies! But if it's just one, well, I'm just really fat!

:LOL Me too! Last time we were taking belly pics from the begining, but there's no way I'll take then right now when I still look like my 3 month pic from the my first baby!

Yep, 6 weeks here and I'm pouching. I'm NOT wearing panel shorts this time. I went to the thrift store and bought long, flowy skirts with elastic waist bands. They had better last me until it gets cold!!!!!

I'll be 7 weeks tomorrow and all of my normal pants are too tight now. I got out my maternity clothes from last time and they are all just too big. I hate this inbetween stage.
