AmiBeth had her Baby!

Myla was born at 1:17 am after Ami had been at the hospital since about midnight. Myla weighed 9 pounds, 7 ounces. Ami did a great job even though she was really slammed with intense back labor, and excrutiating lower abdominal pain. Poor thing, it seemed no position felt comfortable at all. But she was a trooper! She did it, all on her own! She did not need any augmentation of labor, and her body went right into action .

Myla is beautiful, and she nursed like a champ for probably 20 minutes -- she never stopped sucking .

Ami might be home tomorrow. I am sure she will share Myla's birth here.

Hi everyone! Thanks for the congrats! I am SO glad I decided to gp against the induction & wait~ once Myla decided to come she came fast & furious! Stacie is right~ no position even took the edge off of the pain, but I am glad I did it naturally! I'll post her birth story later~ nak
