Nope, he'd just let her run free and deal with the consequences!
(ok there's a chance he'd try one out...but not a big chance) :LOL

dh likes our one vb aio the best, after that, anything's fine - but he keeps telling me to get more aios!

My DH usually grabs for the FuzziBunz.. for ease. But he also likes our VB's. I'm shocked on the day that he brings out the fitted and knitted wool.. very rare

dh prefers fitteds and wool wraps, but he can snappi a prefold like a pro

The diapers have to be aplix for dh. He can't be bothered to figure out how to snap on the easiest snap diaper the right way. (pathetic, I know)

So, happy heinys and prefolds laid in a bummis cover for him. I prestuff the diapers.

For our newborn, he will either use aplix fitteds that I am making with pull on covers, or proraps with prefolds.

My dh is the same way - he will not use prefolds even if that is the only diaper there. He tried one time to snappi a prefold because I made him - now if all of "his" dipes are in the wash - he will just our toddler wear a pair of trainers and deal with the mess. (Even though ds is 3 he is in no way ready for potty learning and has never gone on the potty.)

(oops, I was trying to respond to a quote from mrs.dimples and it didn't work right.)

Dh is great with prefolds. I just asked him what his favorite is, and he said, "the ones that go on her bum." Then he revised it to, "I don't know, the ones with the giraffe." Which I'm guessing means the VB AIOs, but he'll use anything (well, except flats, I haven't taught him how to fold those yet).

My DH prefers prefolds! I have to BEG him to use a fitted for overnight instead of just trifolding a PF in a wrap. I'm always the one to get her up, and she usually wicked out of his preferred premium PF in a Bummis.

He was even good with a Snappi back in the EBFing days!

We used fitteds with PUL snap-on covers for the longest time and dh hated them (think it was b/c ds grew really fast in the beginning and never knew which snaps position to use). So I got ME and Little Lambs aio's and he liked that better. Now I have a few FB's for him and he will go for those if prestuffed. I think his favorite though is the one lone VB aio; if I was to do it again, think that would be all I would get for him to use or Bum-ware aio's.

all we have is prefolds so dh has learned to put them on (we use snappis and velcro covers). I don't think he ever gets them snug enough, but he had the same problem with disposables!

Your'e right, we are married to the same man

His faves are anything but the prefolds. :LOL S'okay, I love pinning a prefold on, so I use those.. and he uses the fitteds with our knitted wool, or he'll grab a pocket. (We only have three of those, so it doesn't happen often.) If I'm near-death hehe, and if I pre-fold and pre-lay it in there, he'll use a prefold in a Bummis velcro wrap. You'd think it was killing him. He makes me laugh by asking which snaps to use on the fitteds or the FB... I always just say "The ones that make it fit our boy". I thought that would be obvious. :LOL He does say we need more fitteds.. hehe.. unfortunately our budget says we're not allowed anything else. *sigh*

Well, the ONE diaper change DH has done in our son's 7 wk life was with a FB. I left it for him because I knew he would be frustrated with pfs, and the FB are leakproof for us.

DH won't use anything side snap so it's SOS or Sugar Britches.

However I recently purchased some diapers that have dragons, castles, knights, medeival stuff on them and he reaches for those first. And they are side-snapping!!! I guess he prefers front snapping because it's less complicated for him - but when it's something he really likes he's not so lazy?!? I don't see it as lazy because I find side snapping easier, but whatever floats his boat.

My dh prefers pocket diapers, but will use a prefold just trifolded in a wrap. He will always throw the wrap in wash after one use, though, and that drives me crazy.

My dad, on the other hand, was fine with snappis when I used to use them and uses prefolds whenever he watches ds.

My DH usually goes for a prefold, snappi, and cover before he grabs anything else. He says he likes the AIO we have. He doesn't like front snap diapers-too much work and he never knows where to start snapping so it takes a couple tries. Velcro is good.
Suprisingly he's only used the FB we have once.

My dp only changes diapers when he "babysits" our twins. He gets confused with snaps (don't ask why) so I usually set out bumkins aio's for him, although these aren't exactly my favorite.

FBs all the way. Which is why I have pretty much converted my entire stash to pocket dipes. He is ok with some aplix covers with a trifolded prefold and fleece liner, but that's about as complicated as it can get. If I try to have him snappi or pin a prefold, I know he'll just get flustered.
