That was really sweet. I especially liked the ballet dancer one - ds1 is incredibly athletic, has always been into sports, and family and friends are always saying he'll be a baseball player or something like that. I often respond "Or maybe a ballet dancer." I get weird looks, but I don't really understand why that is a weird idea!

I was telling my SIL the other day that ds1 is still obsessed with trains, and she said "Yeah, I just realized that my dd likes trains. Those are really more for boys though." :
