Hi,
this has been a real problem for several months by now--when ds nurses lying down, he pushes off from my thighs and goes higher and higher. I just don't stretch that far! I always grab his leg and shift him down again, and it seems like the upward creep is just part of his nursing unless he's dog tired and ready to go to sleep immediately. However, he's always been a VERY active nurser, to the point of being somewhat overwhelming and occasionally really annoying. BUT. Just wanted to commiserate--does anyone else have a baby who does this?
BTW--he's my third, but the first one to accept nursing lying down (and prefer it).

Oh yes. I remember this well. Sometimes I could adjust my legs so dd couldn't reach to push off. That helped. But it was usually a constant nurse, she scoots up, I pull her back down pattern.

:
) I thought I was the only one!
