I have a positive home pregnancy test. I won't find out the results from my 1st beta levels until I go in for my second beta draw on Monday.

Originally I wasn't going to post here because I didn't want to scare the poop out of all the first time moms, but was encouraged to anyway by another MDC mama. (thank you)

If you want to read the stuff I would have posted here, you can read my blog, starting on May 4th. It is the entries with a pink background and a blue border. :LOL

I hope to stick around. I am not sure if I belong here, or the December birth club until the pregnancy is dated better. I am going to need a scheduled C-section and so I might deliver the last day or two of December...won't know until the first ultrasound when they see if it is a baby or not.

The last few weeks I have been really haunted by my son's delivery. It was the epitome of traumatic and the events leading to it, the delivery, and the post partum period are all filled with difficulty. I have a lot of emotional healing to do over the next months.

Right now, pray for sticky vibes, a baby to develop, and peace for me and dh to handle whatever happens.

Welcome and congratulations!

I am glad you decided to post and glad you will share your pregnancy with the rest of us January (or late December) Mamas! You sound like a brave woman with lots of self-awareness. I suspect both of those attributes will help as you work through your feelings surrounding your last birth experience and its aftermath.
