Fetal positioning

Hi all,

My 2nd baby who's due in 1-2 Weeks is a stubborn ROA (right occiput anterior), even though I lie on the left side, spend time on my hands & knees etc. I'm familiar with Jean Sutton's work (just re-read Sit Up & Take Notice), as well as Spinningbabies.com.
Anyone have any ideas what else I could try before labor starts? I know there's still a chance that baby can turn into LOA during labor, esp. since this isn't the 2st baby (1st baby was posterior and I had a c/s), so I"m not totally worried. But I"d love to do something.

Also, is anyone else experiencing a lot of gas (out both directions)?

Dunno about the positioning, but um YES on the above....especially from the ahem, rear....

It is becoming a joke with my hubby and me (at my expense)....because it is NOT pretty...luckily the scent is not bad (sorry if tmi) but wow, the sound, you would think I was a trucker or something :LOL

I hear acidophilous (sp) can help with that (among being great for other reasons) so I started that...not just for the gas, but for the other benefits!! It would be a bonus though if it helped the gas...

Good luck on your baby's position!

I don't see why you'd be too worried about ROA... At least she's not posterior!
I've been doing the same - cat-cows, hands & knees, laying on the left side as far onto the belly as possible (helps to put top leg up on a pillow & stretch bottom leg out straight to get this). Also, try to do the pelvic rocks when baby is awake & moving and during contractions (if you are having any). Might make a difference.

Otherwise, in all likelihood your baby will turn during labor or before. Since you had the c/s, I guess it makes sense to really want to focus on optimal fetal positioning to help with a VBAC. Hope your efforts work out. Good luck.
