By the way, here were my stats from seeing our midwife a few days before. The most significant to me being that the baby's head is waaaaay low. She said the head is just right there. cervix 30 % effaced, but a good week of walking around and putting pressure on it and it will thin out nicely. 2cm dilated. These other things I know can be happening weeks before baby is born, but the fact that her? head is so low and now the mucous plug (that hung down to my knees-HA!!)is a hooray!...

I just want to say midwifery is so refreshing...this was my first vaginal anything the whole pregnancy. She did the Group B swab after which I have some options if the results are positive including the use of collodial silver instead of antibiotics. And then she did a quick check and that was it.

So looking forward to this birth....now hoping midwife gets here in time-she is an hour from me.

well I hope it means more for you then me I lost mine last week and been having contractions on and off ever since... and still no baby
I'm now 41 weeks and wondering whats going on. My DS was born at 39 so... I guess its comfy in there for now :LOL I'm ready though
2 weeks ago I was told my cervix was VERY soft and 1 1/2 cms but she didn't check me today so i donno...

Also just be careful with the Group B test, I've been told they are very inacurate the way they do them. (I think alot of times people get a positive when they aren't....) anyway
