Well DH and I are so psyched because we saved all this money to pay taxes this year and we ended up not having to pay!!!
So now we're starting one of our major projects at home (on our boat) which is the make this boat "off the grid" just like our previous boat.
We have two 75 watt panels already and a friend of ours who is a metal fabricator is going to build supports in back of the boat so we can hold MANY more, larger panels. Now we have to shop around for some. Any input on which ones are reasonably priced? Good quality? Will work in partial shade (the boom on our sail will cover part of one) ? DH is working out how many amp hours we'll need to run everything.
If anyone has researched or purchased some lately I would love to hear!
