The title and first paragraphs are about when to introduce solids, and then it goes on to encourage long term nursing!! I don't agree 100% with his nutritional advice as far as which solids to introduce (specifically his exclusion of grains) but overall it's a wonderful article.
I especially like the way he handles inability to bf/need for formula. Towards the end of the article, he writes
No apologetics or excuses about not breastfeeding- just a simple statement that yes, he understands that some women can't bf and here's his advice about formula. BTW, the first 2 paragraphs of the formula page expound on the importance of bf and that ANY formula is a pale imitation.
