I bought a very pretty cotton sari to use as a wrap sling, and it got here, and it was much thinner and sheerer than I expected. It seems really strong, though.
How gauzy is *too* gauzy for a wrap to be strong enough? I looked at the Gypsymama wraps and they look pretty darn sheer, too. But the sheerest fabric I've ever used is the crinkle-type gauze you find at almost any fabric store. This sari is more like ... voile I guess.
