ITA Cole. College is an investment! Not just in future success, but in the ability to think critically/analyze society/appreciate art/enjoy life! I am highly biased towards the small liberal arts college. If I were you I'd go for a few tours of worthwhile schools in your area--Knox, Beloit just over the border in Wisconsin, Grinnell in Iowa to shoot high. All those schools (although probably especially Grinnell) have good financial aid available. You can find out how to set up a visit through their websites.
