Fertility returning?

Are there any "signs" of your fertility returning? My ds is 16 months old and I still have not had a period. I am just not feeling right but its been for a few weeks so I don't know if its a stomach thing (dh just got over the flu) or my period returning.

some signs of fertility returning: an increase in or change in mucus discharge, more interest in sex, a "full" feeling in your abdomen. The mucus thing is the #1 sign.
take care

That's interesting about the fertility signs...wish I had known about them earlier!

I ceased having a period after my oldest (almost 5) was born, but I've gone on to have two more children and am pg with #4.

Funny you ask...I have been "feeling" my fertility coming back and I just got my cycle today (ds is a few days shy of 19mos). I also noticed mucous and an increased desire in sex and thinking about having another. Guess it was just time? I have mixed emotions right now so I am not going to put them into words, maybe another thread. : :

Hi there...new here, and really happen to find this thread!

Do I understand correctly that you haven't had a period since your oldest was born, but have obviously ovulated (considering that you've had 2 more children, and one on it's way!)

My son is 13 months, and hasn't breast fed for 6 months, but still no menstruation for me. I occasionally feel like I"m going to get my period (low back pain, what I call "ovary ache", etc), but then don't.

Thoughts?
