C/b scar pain

I am 15 months post my 2nd c/b. I've been working out regularly and haven't had any problems till the last week or 2. I've been having pain in my scar. Actually, I can't tell if its my scar or ovaries or soemthing.

I don't know where the pain is coming from. It isn't severe but it can take me breath away. I have an appt for a PAP tomorrow I'm going to mention it to her. What do you think it is?

Is it scar tissue or something. I have not had a problem with adhesions or pain when it is touched.

adhesions feel like a tugging, pulling, tearing sort of pain. Like when you sprain your ankle. They are usually worse when you move a certain way, then will feel kinda sore for a while afterwards. When I had my lap last december, they cleared out massive amounts of adhesions from the front of my uterus, my bladder, my ureters, my ovaries, my tubes, and my bowels, so basically, my entire insides were gunked and stuck together, one ovary was stuck to my bladder (it's not supposed to be anywhere near there!). It looked like a train wreck inside me.

A highly skilled doctor may be able to tell if you have adhesions from an ultrasound or pelvic examination. Most doctors are not that highly skilled, though. A highly skilled doctor will be able to remove all the adhesions without causing more to form. Most doctors aren't that highly skilled, can't operate in the tricky places, and the surgery to fix the problem can make things much worse. Check out www.adhesions.org for more info. Also try www.womenssurgerygroup.com if you think that is your problem, and if you think you might want to find a really skilled surgeon to fix it. DON'T let a regular ob/gyn attempt lap surgery!! They don't perform the procedure often enough to be able to do it properly, and most of them are not up to date on the newest techniques and technologies. Find a specialist, if that is the route you want to take, find the most highly skilled laparoscopic surgeon within a reasonable driving distance. It really makes that much of a difference (I've had three laps, two with a specialist, I know what a difference it makes).

It doesn't sound ike adhesions then. It isn't a tugging pain.

Maybe she wll have some insight.

that's what adhesions feel like to me, it's probably different for different people, as pain is so subjective, you know. Good luck! Hope you get it all figured out real soon!

My dr agreed with the idea of adhesions. She said everything "felt" normal. SHe said that adhesions can feel like what I'm explaining and if the pain gets to be constant or more severe to call for an ultrasound to make sure it isn't something else.
