Low HCG Level

hi all, just got a call from the nurse that my HCG level is only 13. ouch, that's low. She said 2 things: that it may be so early to cause such a reading, or, that the pg is not viable.

I told her that I conceived 5/5 and she said that this could explain the low reading. I'm going back on Monday for more bloodwork. I'll keep you posted.

There is a very real possiblity that you ovulated/implanted later in your cycle than is "normal" (whatever that is :LOL) The actual numbers are not as important as how fast they are rising, so you won't really know anything until you get a second test. The range for the numbers is insanely wide.

This has happened to me with all my pregnancies as well. It takes a while for me to get going I guess (and you too!)
