My daughter has been putting crayons in her pocket lately. Well my DH ( ) just did a whole load of the girls clothes and there is black crayon all over them. I can't get it out! Any ideas mamas?

Iron the clothing (on low!) with a few layers of paper towels between the iron and the clothing.

The wax will melt and be soaked into the papertowel. I've never had to do this before but I've heard it works pretty well.

It may be grease from the washer's motor. My parents' washer had trouble once, and motor grease was seaping into the wash water and making black streaks on the clothes.

we had this happen once, and goo-gone took care of it. I just squirted it on and let it sit a bit and washed again. It all came off. I don't know how "natural" goo-gone is though.

My daughter did this to me THREE times in a row two summers ago. I lost too many clothes. She now does her own laundry.

I had the best results with a hot wash, pretreating each and every streak with Zout. Some fabrics release crayon stains better than others, I have no idea why.
