Pre-SAHM Career: Do you plan on returning after X amount of years? - Page 2

I had planned on returning but I'm not sure if they'll want me back...you know, after all my wasted years not developing new career skills. :LOL

I put career plans on hold to SAH, and I plan on resuming those at some point. I would like to get a Masters in Social Work. I'm itching to be back in school. It will be a while before the situation is right.

I do plan to return at some point, but we'll see whether I go back to what I did before or shift somehow - it will depend on what I'm doing at that point I guess.

I definately plan on being in the workforce again in some way. Not sure what that will look like for me yet though. My kids are getting older, and will obviously eventually be off doing their own things. So I will be too!

I worked in education before, and I might again but not sure exactly how.

I dont know...we said 1 year for sure, then two and now it is not discussed.

We will probably HS for a couple of years, 1 more baby at least so i say teh hext 5 years are filled up nicely.

I definitely want to get back into the work force, or ideally, back to school at some point, but I have no desire to return to my pre-baby career.

worked in a nursing home before. never going back if i can help it. i'm older and can stay busy with out a pay check

No. When I first quit my job to stay home, I was planning to go back. I've been home for 8.5 years, we are homeschooling, and this is what I'm doing with my life.
