Help us name our new puppy! - Page 2

DS, who is 6, thinks you should name him Michael. That's what he named his fish too.

I like Othello.

I second Othello. I always wanted to name a pet Othello.

My lab's name is Dirk. He is a well trained dog and listens great even with a one syllable name.

Good luck with a lab puppy!

The first thing that came to mind when I saw him

Smudge

Molassas?

But spell it better than I just did.

the thing I do when I'm toying with names is I practice giving common commands using the name. (of course for me that means making sure the name fits with German, French and English commands)
And indeed, I look ridiculous giving commands to a dog who doesn't exist :LOL

I like Smooches...it would sound cute with Smokey, and labs *are* smoochers, you know!

what a cutie!!!!!!!!!!! i like the name Onyx, Othello, and I actually think Bandit is cute. Do you like people names for dogs? I named Tyson after one of my favorite models cuz I think he is such a gorgeous pup. LOL.

Shannon, that is awesome that Havoc was allowed to visit you. Lady used to put her head on my tummy too when I was pregnant. She didn't want Goldie near me either. Weird how they know huh?

I like the "o" names. What about Oliver? Ollie for short. I wanted to name my pup that, but was outvoted.

Rigsby
Char (Smokey and Char...only at 4am is that funny :LOL )

Best of luck to you with your new pup! He sure is a cutie.

We always named our labs after Roman Emporors and Empresses
We had:
Druses
Julia
TJ (short for something but I don't know what, he was there before me)
Titus (tie for short)
Berry (berniece - well she wasn't royalty but she was mistress to royalty)

I have always wanted a dog named Hoover. I just think its funny and appropriate for most dogs.

I know labs named: Jackson, Mocha, Java, Cooper, Harley, Boone, and
Montauk

I have also thought of names after snow ski places in CO, Aspen, Breck, Frisco.

OMG He is precious. Ok Our male lab is Bishop, course he has 2 crosses of white on his chest. I like Othello, LOVE Smudge. Did someone say Bear already?

I named my big, black Newfoundland Magnum. Just seems to suit a big, black dog.

I like the name Coaly for a black lab!

I also like Colby or Corey.

He has mooshie lips. I just want to squeeze his fat little face and nibble on his lips!!!! Very cute dog!
