I know of three! I live in Catonsville; there are three "well known" ones in the area. One of them is Evelyn Muhlham (or han..) who used to be of the baltimore birthing center. The other two, pm me and I'll give you the info!
Good luck,
Karen
Evelyn Muhlhan in Randallstown - her practice is called Alternative Birth Choices. If you can't find her phone #, email me and I will dig it out for you.
I'm currently 35 weeks pregnant with my third and am planning a home birth with Evelyn. I would hightly recommend her. She attended my early labor with my first, and caught my second (also named Noah) when she was at the now-closed Baltimore Birth Center.
I've heard all very positive things about Evelyn Muhlhan. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting her yet, but I'm hoping that I will get the chance to soon.
Best of luck to you!
I'm also another one who has had friends use Evelyn, mainly moms who knew here from the birth center. Also have heard good things about the lay midwife in Baltimore, as mentioned by a previous poster. Check out the tribal sections under MD and search the threads, there is a bunch of info there.
