Hi there

hi,

i am pretty newly pregnant, conceived may 11th (due january 30th according to my LMP, but feb.1st according to conception).
i am ultra-paranoid this pregnancy, as i had a miscarriage in Nov '05, so i thought joining a board might help alieviate some fears. i have a toddler, noah, who is two and a half and still nursing. the last couple of days my nipple pain has gone, which was the very symptom that vanished just days before i miscarried last time.....i'm sure it's all in my head but i'm finding it so much harder to connect with this baby this time around. i really FELT pregnant the day after we conceived and took a test 6 days later (postitve) but i just don't feel pregnant anymore at all. hopefully it's psychosomatic!

so far no other symptoms really, but my other 2 pregnancies were like that too so i'm not so surprised. meeting my midwife for the first time on june 9th, so excited about that. i look forward to reading all your experiences!

Hi Rowan,
I'm new to this environment, too, and recently suffered a miscarriage. I'm not too worried this time around, mostly because I had this irrational belief that part of why I lost the last pregnancy was because I wasn't excited enough and was too nervous about it. We'll see what happens. For now, I am just trying to enjoy the sense of being pregnant and start looking forward to having a child. Hope all stays well with you.

Hi Rowan. I'm new here too - pregnant with my fourth. We've lost three in the last two years, so I'm really nervous about this one too. I've already been to the midwife because I needed to see if my numbers were normal so if I needed progesterone I could get on it ASAP. (They were normal!)

This seems like a really good group of women!!
