I've seen this site (or something similar) before. Most people whose homes are THAT disorganized have some sort of issues going on- usually mental illness.

Me, too.

That is so unhealthy, on many levels.

For a start, it's got to be a fire hazard. Maybe her daughter could call the local fire brigade to 'help' her to clear it out?

This could be my next door neighbor except there is no prison in our town and we live in Ill. But her house gets worse every year. I think she is in the early stages of Althiemers (spelling?). I finally had to call our Village this week since her backyard has gotten so unbearable with stuff piled and now 2 foot weeds and there is a terrible smell coming from her home. It drifts over to my property so I cannot even imagine what it smells like in there. Her whole house has blankets or pillows covering the windows and her garage is piled high with sh*t. Also her cars/van/truck are filled to the brim. But the best is the animals and birds living in her roof. Also she takes care of old dogs in her bsmt. We rarely see dogs coming and going but we hear them barking in her bsmt.

Its really sad after talking to the ordinance guy what is going to happen over the next few days and they have to get the fire dept involved as well.

I remember last year when another neighbor moved in she brought over cupcakes to them. The new couple told me that they were in a box and they felt like they were frozen. Also they were expired by 2 years.

As for those pictures...
What scares me is the safety of it. If theres a fire, there is no way to handle it since all that crap is just going to burn- especially old newspapers or books. It does sound like a metal illness. Especailly all that ebay shopping.
