Wow! Am I sleeping well.

I'm just barely, hardly pregnant, but boy, am I sleeping great. I'm tired all the time -- it was my first sign that I might be pg; during my first pregnancy DP nicknamed me "Snoozebot" -- and when I sleep, I zonk out. It's that deep, deep sleep that is so hard to wake up from, like you're swimming up from the bottom of the ocean, kwim? This afternoon DS and I took a nap and I slept right through the construction noise from across the street. Very unlike me.

Now if I just had someone to bring me a big delicious healthful meal in bed every time I wake up...

I normally have sleeping issues. I have a VERY hard time falling asleep, and it's very hard to wake up too. I usually stay up really late, and sleep really late. But even before I found out I was pg, I started going to bed at a decent time, and waking up at a decent time. It was amazing! I felt great!

Now, my body seems to be adjusting to things, because all my pg symptoms except for my bionic nose are going away. I feel quite normal again, and my sleeping patterns are starting to go back to the way they were. It's kind of disappointing.

I'm envious of your good sleep! I too am very tired, but I find that my sleep is very delicate. When I wake at night to pee or when one of the children wakes, I have a very hard time going back to sleep. I feel like I've just had a big cup of coffee. I've come to associate this feeling with a surge in progesterone and it comes and goes. Also, I am also a night owl normally and therefore, I like to sleep in until at least 7:30 am. I've been waking at 6:30 am or so starving and needing to get up and eat. Funny how pregnancy affects us all differently.

My sleep sucks. I fall asleep easily, but wake up about 3 or 4 to pee and then have trouble falling back to sleep and when I do I have nightmares. Not fun. I'm hoping this goes away soon.

Well, I am definitely tired all the time! That is for sure! But I haven't been sleeping well the past week. I am already feeling uncomfortable, and it seems a bit early to feel that way. It feels strange to be on my stomach, and I am only 6 weeks.

The last 2 weeks I was sleeping like a long though, and that was wonderful. I usually go to bed very, very late....but have been zonking out around 10:30 or 11. I feel like 8 hours is not enough (which used to be an amazing amount of sleep!)

I hope this passes, with a toddler I need good sleep, but not too much of it! I am already starting to nap when he naps!

Between peeing and starving, I'm not sure when I'm sleeping! The instant my eyes are open my stomach is growling up a storm, and I can't lay there and try to fall back to sleep because I might pee myself! :LOL

Oh and ah.. crackers by the side of the bed? Blahh...

I've been falling asleep around 9pm and waking up around 8am.....Mmmmmm, that's some good sleep. Thank goodness I'm staying with my IL's right now and MIL gets up to feed dd's their breakfast!
