As the World Turns, my new soap, I have questions

I've given up on Passions. The writers just suck and I can't waste my time with it. So I'm sticking with CBS, and have decided to try out ATWT since it's on after the other two I watch. But I have a few questions for those of you who are vets of the show...

1.Who is Brandi? What are the implications of her getting shot?

2. What exactly is on that videotape?

3. Who is James? Who is Paul? What is there relationship?

4. Is it possible the baby is the groom's?

5. Why are those kids on the run?

I used to watch ATWT long, long, long ago. Back in the days when Meg Ryan was still a regular. Craig, Sierra, Holden, and Lily....I haven't watched a soap opera since college.

Wish I could fill you in on Paul, James and the videotape.

sorry, I'm strictly an ABC sudser! But not General Hospital. I have a friend who appears on Passions now and then... very minor character, a nurse. She is quite pretty with very dark hair and big blue eyes. I believe a while back she helped with a baby delivery that ended with the mom being taken away in shackles and the baby was an alien or something... they have made a big left turn in terms of plot over there I guess!

This is my fav soap, so here goes...

Brandi- Paul shot her, believing she was James, his father. James has been on the show forever, he does mean things and has been "killed" many times.

The video has Carly and Mike having sex. The once had an affair long ago and had a daughter. I believe Carly lost the baby.

James is Pauls father. As I said James is a villian. I however love when he is on the show.

The baby could be Jack's (groom) because his ex drugged him and had sex with him once when she kidnapped him. She is Julia, a real nutcase.

Aaron and Lucy are on the run because Aaron was jailed for burning a barn and injuring Will, he didn't do it though, but Lucy's father doesn't think him good enough for his daughter and is out to get him. Allison is on the run because her mom sent her to a girls school to keep her out of trouble.
