Another one bites the dust...

Well annakiss had her precious baby boy (congrats again!!) ... so our little group is really thinning out (unlike my cervix :LOL) ... jk, I have no idea --- I haven't been checked... I have an appointment tomorrow and I am considering having her do a check but then I worry about the psychological ramifications if she is like -- you are completely closed...

Anyway, 3 days over my EDD and my mucous plug is gone but still nothing.. I didn't even have contractions last night like I have been having for days... I am beginning to feel defective

I am snapping at my husband left and right despite him being so wonderful... I feel badly about it but man, arghhhhhhhhhhh...

We are both talking to my belly regularly, practically begging her to come out :LOL

Oh well, off to the mall to walk because it is way too hot to be outside...

We are still here too, rapidly approaching 41 weeks (tomorrow). I talked with my midwife last week and we said we would check at 41 weeks. I do kinda want to know what is happening one way or another. I'm supposed to have a nonstress test + AFI tomorrow, but it hasn't been scheduled so I don't know what the heck is going on with that.

It seems like my aches multiply daily and I am coming down with a cold.

Aren't I just a fun person to be around, eh?

Had another water breaking dream, but it was, of course, nothing in the end. No mucous plug or anything. Still fully intact. I read that clary sage essential oil is contraindicated for pregnant women since it causes uterine contractions, I have some clary sage massage lotion and DH gave me a nice back rub last night...nothing. I've been pressing on my acupressure points and they seem to cause some contractions, but nothing too big. Ate mexican food last night, it just gave me heartburn. Trying to think what other sort of lame old wives tale I'll try today...

Hi Gals, I am still here too! I am just back from a wonderful, exhausting, stressfull, LLL conference. With all the stair walking I had to do (escalators turned off for childrens safety) I thought for sure I would start labor last night. In fact, I prayed I would not start (last night in hotel). Well I woke up still pregnant! She is very low from all that stair walking. I am hoping this week is it, now that I can relax.

Thanks Captain Crunchy! Boy is baby low. Just got done taylor sitting for about 45 mins & boy was it hard to get up! I bet she is right there!

I had a midwife appt tomorrow, but my midwife had to postpone it until wenesday. (She thought she had poison oak, then a spider bite. She limped around the conference in obvious pain. Went to the ER last night & has cellulitis & had to have IV antibiotics for the infection! I feel so bad.)

I am considering having membranes stripped. I will weigh the pros & cons tomorrow when I have a clearer head. I am very tired today, recovering!
