I'm now the happy mama of two little girls! Lily welcomed her baby sister Anya to our family.

Born at home in the water
on May 29, 2005
at 11:52am after only 3.5 hours of very intense labor
8 lbs 2 oz
20.5 inches

We are all doing well and getting acquainted.

Congrats!!! She's very beautiful. What a perfect age gap for your two little girls. My sister is 20 months younger than I am and we've always been the best of friends. We were never bored as children. That will make it so much easier on you!!! Enjoy your babymoon!!!

Congrats! Too funny, your oldest has the same birthday as my toddler and your baby has the same name as mine, only spelled differently.

Small world! After we named our baby and told my midwife, she mentioned that she attended a birth for a family in Chicago where they had three girls: Maya (our dogs name), Lily and Anya. I guess us homebirthing, crunchy types tend to like the same kind of names!

Congratulations ~ she's beautiful! I ended up telling Tiffany, as you know they are moving this week. We were actually in the midst of helping them, when your little one was born. Enjoy your babymoon!

Thanks for letting her know. I was bummed I didn't get to talk to her until days later. Give them my "moving love" and don't you help too much!
