My 3rd baby was born by c section, I a;ways knew I may have a bay by section. But after 2 vag. births I NEVER thought I would this time.
My labours are fast and I was pushing on the way to the hospital. (good thing I didn't wait for it to hurt, it never did)
I get there and they don't even check me they see the baby is not reponding well to contrations. his heart rate was 95.
So they take me for a csection. Well........ he had both hands and his head wedged in the birth cannal. SO thats why he wasn't coming out he was stuck, and I guess in distress. plus the fact that I have herpes.
But I would have had a csection any way, I had active herpes sores. But i am glad iina way that the H is not the only reason.
*not glad my baby was indistress but glad he wasn't born the "wrong" way because of a stupid misake I made when I was young

I will have a vbac next time if there is a next time
I just wanted to tell my story nad let you know that not everyone has a c for just a big baby. AND yes, I told and tell ppl that only his heart rate was down. Sometimes it is not anyones bizzness

Well, you would have had the c-section anyways right, because they wouldn't attempt a vaginal birth with active herpes lesions, would they?

I don't think anybody said that people only have c-sections for big babies, there ARE plenty of reasons why c-sections are necessary. Big babies don't necessitate a c-section, but serious fetal distress, and herpes lesions are among the reasons that do.
