It's a BABY! (I was really stressed that it was a blighted ovum again, especially since I was having cramping that was only held at bay with progesterone)

My estimated due date is now set at January 16 (my birthday is the 15th) That puts today's sonogram at 7w1d.

We got to see the flutter of a heartbeat and she was able to measure it three times...I was so relieved to see the heartbeat that I don't remember anything she said after she pointed that out :LOL. The heartbeat was normal (but, like I said, no idea what that is...I should call and ask tomorrow)

Jennifer, what wonderful news! Thanks for sharing it!

I think that hearing the heartbeat for the first time is, for me, one of the most exciting moments of the pregnancy. It somehow seems to make it real after the struggle we all have to have faith that it's working out.

Congrats! I saw mine today!!!! And what a relief it was after 2 m/c's. She measured it and said that I am 8 weeks and 1 day...so my due date is Jan 8th. And she said the heartbeat looked completely normal...that it was about 160...I feel better....I can finally relax too...I wish I could post my pic, but I don't have a scanner...

How exciting! It's neat to see your u/s pics, because we're less than a week difference, and it's nice to see approximately how my baby looks too! It almost makes me want to go out and get an ultrasound!
