Hi TH! Miss you!! Congrats on the 8k!

I like to walk and go hiking. I used to do yoga a few times a week before dd. Now I am lucky if I can do it a once a month!
Oh - dh got me into windsurfing! I went for the 1st time this season a couple days ago. It is so fun, but hard for me to make progress b/c I can't do it often enough!

good for you smeta! Enjoy the windsurfing, I've never done it so you can do it as if you are doing it for me. Give your dh and dd a big group hug from us. We have been hiking lately (took about two weeks off and I could tell how much I missed it, KWIM?), today we went with my friend Malissa you met. It was nice. We both brought dh and they had fun too.

Can't wait to see you guys again.

Dh and I have been on the Body for Life program for the last 6 weeks. We are eating healthier and exercising 6 days a week. On our weight training days we go out to our makeshift gym in the garage and turn on the baby monitor while the girls sleep. On cardio days dh runs then when he gets back, I run. We have to do our workouts at about 6am b4 the girls get up. That is the only way we will get it done in the day.

The other day I tried jumping rope for my cardio. On the "program" cardio workouts are only 20 minutes long, but jumping rope for 20 minutes is dang hard. I am still sore.

Since starting this new program 6 weeks ago, I am feeling better physically and mentally and emotionally. It is great.

I belly dance, roller skate and walk alot. We had two cars but got rid of one which has helped me get lots more excercise. I also like to do work out videos, it's brainless....

I used to go to a gym that had childcare. Now that I've moved I own about 50 videos and rotate between those (step, hi/lo, weights, yoga, pilates). I've always walked a lot, which I found easy without kids and with a child in a sling or stroller, but now with a child who walks, I have to walk more slowly and can't get as far. We still do it anyway, and I try to get out without the kids in the evenings or on weekends as well.

Just wanted to say that I found a great addition to my routine--using one of those swimming boards in the pool. Great for toning legs & strengthening the back...

Okay, I'm a pre-mama, so I'm sure this will change drastically...
I try to do aerobics about twice a week when it's cold out. I'm playing loads of tennis this summer. I love to hike and canoe. I'm trying to walk every mid-day for half an hour to just get myself outside and moving. O, also lots of gardening.

I'm experiencing many fewer headaches and shoulder and neck strain. Interesting.... And the endorphins - whoo hoo!
