Does anyone remember how to clean ovens with baking soda? Mine is in dire need.

You make a thick paste and spread over surface...scrub a little...let sit for 12 hours...remoisten and scrub in a little more...wait 12 more hours...and, in theory, it should then wipe right off.
(I haven't tried it, but remember the process I read about.)
