Sanitizing pet bedding

without nasties!

With 3 dogs in the house, one of whom is a foster puppy and still has accidents I need to keep their bedding (just old terry towels) really clean. My current routine is 7th gen. laundry detergent and 1/2 cup borax in a hot wash......but am I doing enough? Is there something better that I should do?

TIA

I wash really well in HOT water and often do an extra cycle without detergent. Then I dry well on HOT a little longer than they need to get dry. I figure the heat kills everything.

I just wash pretty normally, on warm or hot, depending on how messy, wiht extra long cycle, and extra rinse if necesary, and put the dryer on high heat for a little while longer then normal.

hth. I fugured if it dont stink it's good enough
