How early can you use OTC pregnancy test??

The last time I was pregant I believe those OTC tests instructions said to wait until your period is at least 4 days late. I havent bought a new test yet but think i may beek 1 wk pregnant. I'm just feeling really different, & have felt "faint" , something I've only felt one other time. the last time i was pregnant.
Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm anxious to go to the pharmacy & get a test
