New to MDC, due in January

Hi everyone,

I'm Lisa, Navy wife to Shane, and I'm due with my first January 8, 2006. It took a while to get pregnant and we are really excited that it happened naturally. We were about to go through testing, etc. to see what our next course of action would be, so it was a pleasant surprise to do it without help. I am planning on a homebirth and have my first appointment with the midwife on Friday.

Hi and welcome!

My DD was due 1/8/03 and this new baby is due 1/7/06--so I'm right there with you! We did a homebirth last time and are planning another. Have you chosen a midwife yet?
