Anyone have any good quick breakfast ideas?

My dd will be starting summer camp next year and I need to be able to send her off knowing her belly is full. She doesn't like cereal and usually for breakfast she would eat french toast or waffles or something. Some days it's a fight to get her to eat anything. I thought about getting a blender and making some smoothies, but she doesn't like milkshakes so I'm not sure how well that will go over. She will eat yogurt though and maybe a few sips of orange juice.

Can't get much quicker and easier than french toast, waffles, or pancakes. I know that pancakes freeze and reheat really well, too. Just put some wax paper between them and put them in a ziploc in the freezer. I usually butter them first, and it just takes 30 seconds to reheat in the microwave.

Or some yogurt and fruit. Do you think she'd do some raw oats or granola mixed in too?

PB&J or a fried egg rolled up in a tortilla?

how about a smoothie popsicle? (you could blend in some protein powder)

homemade or storebought granola bars?

ds sometimes eats dinner leftovers for breakfast.

or maybe a breakfast burrito from leftovers?

Peanut butter toast

Agree with pp about making french toast or waffles ahead of time and reheating in microwave or toaster. I make our waffles w/ a fair amount of oatmeal in them to make them nice and hearty

ok, this might sound weird - my dh thinks i am seriously odd when i make it, but . . .

flour tortilla, spread with pb, lie a banana in it, and wrap it up.

I second the suggestion to make and freeze waffles, pancakes, or muffins. Our staples around here are chocolate waffles (homemade multi-grain waffles with cocoa powder and some extra sugar to take the edge off the cocoa) and banana-maple pancakes (homemade multi-grain pancakes with a mashed up banana instead of most of the liquid and a touch of maple syrup for flavor.) These are both great for eating on the run because they don't need syrup, jelly, or yogurt for dipping.

For muffins, see if your library has a copy of Super Muffins. It's got an amazing collection of funky, healthy muffin recipes. The same authors have another book called "Super Cookies" that might have some interesting ideas too.

My two favorite quick breakfast items are pancakes and miso soup.
I make up big batches of smallish pancakes and freeze them. Then I can just pop them in the toaster to searve them.
For miso I cube up my tofu and slice carrots and green onions up and divide them into single serving freezer bags. That way I can grab a bag out of the freezer dump it in some water bring it to a boil, let it cool a bit and stir in miso paste and seaweed.
