wood laminate floor cleaner

What can I use to clean my wood laminate/pergo floors without leaving them streak-y or dull? Would a half and half solution of vinegar and water work? Would a little squirt of Dr. Bronners with vinegar and water leave a residue? I have a squirt bottle that I'd love to put something into to keep them clean but need suggestions/help. Thanks!

I think about 1:8 vinegar to water ratio would work best. Thats what I use on my wood floors, vinyl, etc and it works great. I would definitely only damp mop, not wet mop. You might try damping mopping an area at a time and then drying it. I think laminate floors might streak more than wood. I use a microfiber cloth that is very well wrung out to clean our floors. This way they dry almost immediately, end up nice and shiny and I don't usually have to dry them afterwards. You can also add a few drops of tea tree oil or grapefruit seed extract to disinfect and a few drops of your favorite essential oil(s). My favorite combo that makes the house smell nice is TTO/peppermint EO or GSE/sweet orange and lavendar EO. HTH

Very little water. That is what the pergo guys told us. I just take a big of vinegar on a towel and get on my hands and knees and give it a once over. Of course, my room is very small. If it was bigger, I would just put a teeny bit on a dry mop and use that.
