laundry soap huh? How well does that work on dipes?
I use it in my soft-scrub, and for handwashing clothes. I used to use it for handwashing, but I love my L'Occitane soap for that. Used to use a tiny bit in wipe solution, but now I just use water. I like the lavender.

All of the above, but when I mop my floors with it I get a soapy film rather than a nice shine, so I don't do that very often (unless i'm diligent about rinsing, which I'm usually not). I use it for countertops, sinks, tubs (sometimes), liquid hand soap bottles, cleaning the animal cages between disinfecting them, car wash soap... that's all I can think of now.

By the way, if it's the peppermint soap you learn to love, although it makes a wonderful body soap, don't attempt to wash your hoohoo with it. Ask me how I know!!

I am not sure about dipes.....though I know there are mamas who do wash with Bronners. I am afraid of build up so I use Allen's.

I have used the peppermint kind for bathing for a while and just the other day I used the Dr.B to wash a glass bottle/jar collection that I keep on a shelf, it worked really good because I didn't have to use as much water to rinse the suds off.

Novice Question

I have heard it has many uses and I may buy a bottle soon...but what is it made of? What are the other reasons it is so great? Hope this isn't too off subject. I'd like to hear more about the variety of uses, too!

This will tell you all you need to know!

I have to say, when my Dp first asked me to pick up a bottle of this My impoverished history caused me to go WHAAAA? and stare at the 4.99 price tag for a little bottle of soap. However i am now converted completely (especially because of how long those bottles last under constant use). We use the almond soap, and it is great! I'm sure there are more things we could be using it for, but right now its mostly used for:

1. cleaning us (face, body, hair) and
2.in a spray bottle mixed with some tea trea oil to combat bathtub mildew
3. in a spray bottle mixed with water for house spotcleaning
I'll be lurking
They don't have galllons at the great little health food store I frequent, but when I had to replace it I Bought the biggest bottle they had

Thanks, FancyD! I enjoyed learning it's all organic and all natural! I may be a new convert soon. I noticed a big bottle of it GNC the other night while buying natural sinus remedies. I would not have thought to look there for it!

OT: where can I purchase a foaming pump bottle?
baby diaper spray solution:
http://www.fuzbaby.com/

I use the peppermint, found at Trader Joes for about $6.99. I get the huge container of aloe vera for the same And I use olive oil for the oil. And I put TTO(few drops) in too. I have to say, I dilute it slightly form her recipe. And I always spray this solution on babe, then have a seperate bottle of water for wiping it off with a wet wipe.I love it!They smell like candy canes

I also use it to wash my wool. I mix a squirt of Dr. Bronners lavender in a bottle with HOT wter and a pea sized drop of lanolin. Shake it up, pour in a basin of lukewarm water, wash wool, rinse, dry.

Wanted to add, Dr. Bronners can be very drying, use sparingly
